Information I process

When you submit the form, I process your name, email address, message and confirmation of consent. I also process information you choose to provide by phone or email. Please do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Purpose and legal basis

I use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and arrange work. The contact form asks for your consent. A request for a proposal may also involve steps before entering a contract; work for a client involves performance of a contract. Billing information is also processed to meet legal obligations. Legitimate interests may apply to protecting legal claims.

How long information is kept

If we do not work together, contact form information is kept for no more than 12 months after our last communication. Accounting and billing records are kept for the periods required by applicable law.

Who may access information

Messages are sent to info@newweb.sk. The theme does not store contact message contents in the WordPress database. Hosting, email and technical support providers may process information as needed; accounting providers may do so when we work together.

International transfers

Google services may also involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Details of recipients, transfers and applicable safeguards are available in the Google Privacy Policy and Google Data Processing Terms.

Technical information and website preferences

The website remembers your language and light or dark mode preferences in browser local storage. The form uses a security token and short-lived, one-way hashes to limit spam and duplicate submissions. These records do not contain the message text itself. Analytics loads only after your voluntary consent in the cookie banner. I use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags and Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited to measure website visits and successful form submissions. Google may process pseudonymous cookie identifiers, device and browser information, visited pages and events. Names, email addresses and form message contents are not sent to analytics. Advertising tracking and ad personalization are disabled.

The necessary newweb_consent_v1 cookie remembers your choice for 180 days. When you allow analytics, _ga and _ga_* cookies are used with a lifetime of up to 180 days. GA4 user and event data retention is set to 2 months; aggregate statistics may remain available longer. Rejecting analytics does not limit the website or its forms. Google measurement does not load before consent.

Subject to the conditions set out in law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing and lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority. Send requests to info@newweb.sk.

Withdrawing consent

You can change or withdraw analytics consent at any time using the Cookie settings button on this website. Withdrawal stops further measurement and removes this website’s analytics cookies. You can withdraw other consent by emailing info@newweb.sk. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn.
